LIV Golf party on par-3.
Chase Koepka walked to the long-awaited “Watering Hole” at number 12 at The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia and hit the opening before being doused with water, beer and other liquids on Sunday.
Because the ball hit the underside of the cup, Koepka dropped his club to the bottom and celebrated with fellow LIV golfers Ian Poulter and Paul Casey.
“I smelled like beer all the remaining of the day,” Koepka said after a frenetic celebration that followed a holeshot in one, in line with Golf Digest. “Yes, it was wild. Crazy experience. I mean, after all, doing it on a hole like that was super special.
Koepka finished twenty fourth under 10 while Talor Gooch won under 19.
Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed’s 4Aces won the team competition.
The twelfth hole at Grange Golf Club has colosseum-like seating just like the TPC Phoenix from the PGA Tour.
There’s also a live DJ, bars and songs to go as players step onto the briefcase.

“I’m excited to see the holeshot,” Chase’s older brother, Brooks Koepka, said earlier this week. “Look, I’ve all the time loved playing Phoenix. I all the time thought the amphitheater crowd around the opening was all the time special.”
In 2022, Sam Ryder scored 16 in a similar “Coliseum” hole in Phoenix as fans similarly exploded with beer.
But LIV Golf’s “Golf But Louder” slogan actually lived as much as its name on Sunday.
