Disgraced ‘Jackass’ alum Bam Margera surrendered to authorities just days after Pennsylvania police issued a warrant for his arrest amongst other things, for assaulting his brother Jess.
The state police released a message in tweet in your official account.
Police said the 43-year-old reality TV star turned to Avondale Barracks. He was “fingerprinted and photographed prior to indictment” in district court.
Margera was subsequently released on bail after bail was set at $50,000, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for May at Chester County Court, status of court records.
The “Viva La Bam” star is currently facing multiple charges, including 4 counts of creating a terrorist threat with intent to terrorize one other person and one count of outright assault.
This ends a week-long saga that began Monday morning after Avondale police responded to a domestic dispute reported in Pocopson Township, Pennsylvania.
In response to the report, Bam’s brother Jess Margera caught his brother pissing within the kitchen sink.
This caused Bam to turn out to be “aggressive” and commenced punching Jess in the attention, nose and ear, causing him minor injuries, reported NBC.
Jess, who’s the drummer, said his siblings also left an ominous note that read: “In case you even fucking take into consideration calling the police on me, I’ll officially screw you.”
Before the police arrived, the stuntman reportedly fled into the woods.
Nonetheless, it shouldn’t be clear where Bam has spent the last three days, his brother tweeted that the Penn resident was together with his recent girlfriend and her 8-year-old child – whom he was reportedly “anxious” about under the circumstances.
In one other tweet, Jess stated that his brother’s “methamphetamine habit” has made him “unrecognizable and I actually do not know what he’s able to.”
Bam’s attorney, Michael van der Veen, maintained that his brother’s claims were false.
“The rumors that were spread by his brother last week were nothing greater than defamation and will likely be handled in one other court,” the lawyer said as he left the court together with his client.
