James Corden he just bowed for the last time Late late show.
After eight years, the 44-year-old was at home last episode from the April 27 night show. And in true comedic fashion, Corden opened the show with a segment where he was blocked on set addressing his guests Harry Styles AND Will Ferrell to assist. But once he managed to get on stage, the host was met with a standing ovation and the audience cheered his name.
“That is it, gang. That is it,” he said. “That is the ultimate Late late show within the history of CBS.”
In fact, there have been also tears – including from Corden’s mother Margaret who was sitting within the audience with his dad Malcolm.
They usually weren’t the one ones who desired to be a part of his big goodbye. President Joe Biden he also sent Corden a message. Also, fellow late night hosts Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel, Stefan Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, David Letterman AND Trevor Noah appeared in a skit about Corden leaving a chat show, keeping the host’s secrets and seeing what life is perhaps like after he left.
