There are only bad vibes here.
A terrified Miami woman went viral on TikTok after accusing her roommate of taking her vibrator during “the scariest experience” she’s ever had.
“It was just a weird experience, definitely the primary and hopefully the last,” Max, who declined to be named, told The Post on Saturday.
Publishing under username @modmaxxxThe 30-12 months-old garnered over 3.2 million views for this month’s three-part saga, sharing her version of the unlucky events that she believes led to her quick move out.
she demands she realized her stomach was twisting earlier this month when she got here home from visiting family. She said she looked like she was giving her roommate a surprise, but she didn’t think anything was suspicious and went to bed.
“I get up and go to the bedside drawer. I open a drawer and my vibrator is at all times there,” she explained on TikTok. “Suddenly he’s gone.”
She couldn’t imagine her faithful “ladies man” toy was gone because “it was at all times there.” She said she tore her room apart trying desperately to find it but to no avail.
After 45 minutes of deliberation, she made the daring decision to check out her roommate’s quarters.
“I go to her bed drawer and open it – and there is my vibrator,” she said, convincing herself that her vibrator was just misplaced. “I think it have to be the identical brand, the identical color.”
“I don’t think anyone could ever do something like that,” she added.
Activating panic mode, she remembered frantically texting her friends and sister for advice.
One in all her buddies reportedly told her to mark the vibrator with a dot of eyeliner and take a picture. If it had been returned to her, she would know needless to say.
Max said she snuck out to the coffee shop when her roommate got here home to give her a probability to put the vibrator back in its rightful place.
Max claims that when she later checked her own nightstand, the black dot vibrator of eyeliner was magically there.
“All I know is that I do not feel protected anymore, like who do I live with? I just want to get out of there,” Max declared one other clipnoticing that other items were missing before mysteriously reappearing.
In hysterics during a phone call together with her parents, Max was persuaded to text her roommate, who allegedly immediately denied the accusations and tried to blame it on considered one of her friends.
“I feel really sick immediately prefer it’s so fucking weird” Max continued.
“No longer only am I living with the freak who did this, but now she’s lying,” she added, not identifying the roommate by name.
Curiosity got the higher of Max, who said he googled the roommate, claiming to have found a page with incriminating details about her family – including a photo of a woman with the word “liar”.
“Now I’m like, ‘Wow, who the hell am I living with? ”- wondered Max, whose parents helped her move out the very next day. She said they even called the police to monitor her quick exit to be sure nothing bad happened.
After packing his things, Max bids farewell to his roommate in a final message and advises her never to contact her again.
“You set me up. I considered it, and you place it in my room since you wanted to break the lease early,” the roommate, who is alleged to be studying law, allegedly replied.
The “crazy story” caused disgust and shock amongst TikTok users.
“The worst part is wondering how often he uses it,” commented one viewer.
“That is so Disgusting what an absolute violation,” commented one other stunned person.
“I’m sick,” another person said.
“THIS HAPPENED TO ME!! Mine did not have any batteries on the time, and when I found it in her drawer, there have been BRAND NEW batteries,” said one user.
“ reminder to google ANYONE,” advised one other.
“That is the craziest story I’ve ever heard,” wrote one bewildered user.
On the urging of her brother, Max decided to describe the “crazy” experience on TikTok intimately, not expecting so many opinions.
The “biggest argument” within the comments, she told The Post, centered on her decision to inform her parents concerning the missing vibe case.
While “half of TikTok thought it was weird that I told them,” she said, “the opposite half supported me and said they might do the identical.”
After the alleged incident, Max said she was staying with a friend who had a spare room.
She claims she was never really on a lease – the couple allegedly got here to an agreement that Max could stay for six months – until she was due to return to Canada.
Since her quick departure, Max says she hasn’t heard a word from her former roommate and has “blocked her in every part”.
“I feel fantastic now,” she assured me. “For weeks I played the situation over and another time and questioned the last five months and [what] Something else could have happened, but I decided to just move on and let it go.”
