There’s uncertainty sausage.
King Charles III has been accused of hiding his “sausage fingers” out of shame recent portraits released before the coronation.
Charles wore a straightforward pinstripe suit and Queen Camilla wore a blue dress – but royal fans on Twitter were quick to indicate that the king’s hands were nowhere to be seen.
The 74-year-old monarch seemed to go to great lengths to keep his hands off the camera.
One photo shows him standing together with his hands behind his back next to 75-year-old Camilla, while one other shows him together with his hand in his pocket.
Whether or not Charles’s “sausage fingers” – a term he coined himself during his 2012 Australian tour – was the explanation for his invisible hands, the hands of kings have been roasting online since he took the throne last September.
“Sausage fingers” was even the seventh most searched term on Google at one point this yr.
Social media users are actually joking that the king was “bullyed” into hiding his numbers in photos.
“Show us your hands you cowards” one person tweeted.
“I need to abolish the monarchy but I still feel bad that we abused a grown man so he would never show his hands again” wrote one other.
“I am unable to consider Twitter bullied a literal king into never showing his hands” someone commented.
“We’ll Never See Them Again, Brother” one other said.
Even together with his hands shy in front of the camera, Charles himself did not address the Web obsession together with his fingers.
