The royal family has revealed a surprising first take a look at the interior of Westminster Abbey hours before King Charles III’s coronation ceremony.
British family official Twitter account shared a 40-second take a look at a decorated London royal church on Friday night, writing simply: “Westminster Abbey is prepared for the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.”
The impressive clip shows the stunning floral arrangements in an empty constructing with the Great West Window in the distance.
Foliage formations are made of rosemary, birch, bay and hazel and wild broom, by DailyMail.
As 8,000 guests attended the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, only the procession route was decorated with flowers.
“The abbey was so full of people and everybody was wearing scarlet robes that there was no room for flowers,” said florist Shane Connolly, who arranged for Charles DailyMail.
Two thousand guests are expected to attend the Saturday event, leaving plenty of room for decorations.
Seasonal plants can be donated to Floral Angels – a charity whose patron is 75-year-old Camilla – which transforms the compositions into bouquets sent to nursing homes, hospices and shelters.
The ceremony will include “key elements related to sacred religious service” but will reflect the 74-year-old king’s vision of a truncated modern monarchy, Buckingham Palace announced.
Still estimated to cost between $63 million and $125 million for the ‘reduced’ affair based on the BBC.
The ceremony is anticipated to be costlier than Elizabeth’s coronation, which might have cost $57 million today.
The weekend’s festivities include a “royal procession” and a concert at Windsor Castle featuring American Idol judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.
The ceremony is anticipated to start out at 11am local time (6am ET) at Westminster Abbey.
In the meantime, fans can suck on Charles’s “sausage fingers” as the e-cigarette company debuted its “coronation collection” of vaporizers that mirror his infamous chunky claws.
