Gold Coast fitness influencer Ashy Bines has detailed her horrific flight after revealing she fell in poor health before boarding.
The 34-year-old, along together with her husband Steve Evans and their 6-year-old son Taj and 1-year-old daughter Tala, were returning home from Bali on Sunday when things took an unexpected turn at Denpasar airport.
Ashy told her million Instagram followers that she “spitted out several times” at the airport, in addition to “every 20 minutes” on a Jetstar flight – which was delayed an hour and a half.
“I feel it will need to have been something all of us ate at breakfast,” she said in an Instagram story.

“I spat out a number of times, but I assumed, ‘No, that is not enough to knock me out, all the pieces will probably be superb.’
“After which once I got on the plane, I handed over the tickets and literally passed out.”
Ashy said she “completely broke down” and wasn’t sure how long she could be unconscious.
“I grabbed Steve’s hand and he was holding Tala and he caught me just in time. Poor Taj was absolutely distraught to see me fainting so he would not leave me.”

When the family boarded, Ashy sat together with her son while Steve was with their daughter.
“The whole flight Taj and I just spit out, probably every 20 minutes,” Ashy said.
“At one point I used to be spitting into my spit bag and holding Taj’s spit bag and he was crying since it’s so uncomfortable and scary for teenagers.
“It was just awful.”
Ashy said her husband was superb until he put their daughter in the gondola on the plane.
“Steve didn’t feel sick at the airport – until he put Tali in the gondola after which began spitting it out.
“I used to be like, ‘Oh my god, we’re all taking place.’ It was scary; it was so, so hard. It was the hardest flight I’ve ever had.”
Meanwhile, a person who was on the same plane described it as “the worst flight I’ve ever been on” after sitting next to “sick passengers”.
“Before takeoff, until we landed, someone was continuously sick,” said passenger James Foley Yahoo News Australia.
“While boarding, one passenger physically fainted, after which they were sick throughout the flight,” he added, saying staff mustn’t have allowed sick passengers on the plane.
“It was absolutely awful. Not only them, many individuals on the plane felt bad.”

He said the smell of the vomit was “gross.”
“We couldn’t eat or rest because the vomiting continued throughout the flight. It was non-stop.”
A Jetstar spokesperson told news.com.au that he was sorry to listen to that these customers were feeling unwell and admitted it might be an unpleasant experience for others sitting nearby.
“Our customer support team is in touch with Mrs. Bines and Mr. Foley, in addition to members of our crew, to higher understand what happened,” the spokesperson added.
“Customers who’re too sick to fly should contact us prior to travel or speak to our crew so we are able to assist them with their booking and consider alternative travel arrangements.”
