Retirement was no fun for Tom Brady.
In a recent interview from Sports Illustratedthe seven-time Super Bowl champion, 45, noted that his post-NFL lifestyle was “so much busier” than he had expected since he called it a profession in February after 23 seasons.
“It was much busier than I wanted. There’s been so much occurring in the off-season so I’m just attempting to sort out my calendar and determine exactly where I’m going here with my kids for the next three months,” Brady said.

The previous quarterback who shares two of his three childrenSon Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, added that while he already has “some holiday stuff” lined up, he believes retirement won’t cool down before the end of this summer.
“After all I believe around the end of July once I often go to soccer and training camp but I’m not doing that this 12 months so I do not think I’ll miss that part an excessive amount of, of course when the games are in September I’ll missed a bit more, but I’m very comfortable with what is going on on and I’m looking forward to some really cool opportunities in my life moving forward,” Brady said.
Brady is not exaggerating about these “cool deals.”

Not only is he slipping into the Fox Sports booth next fall as the NFL Network’s chief analyst, he’s also on the verge of becoming a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Nevertheless, because of the efforts of the Raiders, whispers have intensified over the past week that Brady could potentially make plans to return to the field.
The NFL legend, who played for the Patriots and Buccaneers during his profession, dispelled those rumors Thursday by stating partly: “I’m pretty sure I won’t be playing again.”
