On Thursday, President Biden swindled the name of one in all the most important oceans off the coast of Africa during a gaffe-filled press conference with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
“We’re talking about construction – and my team has also gathered with other countries – to construct a railroad from the Pacific Ocean – from the Atlantic Ocean all the best way to the Indian Ocean,” Biden, 80, he said Thursday on the White Houseclumsily describing a proposal to construct a railway linking sub-Saharan Africa.
Africa, the second largest continent on earth, borders the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean – not the Pacific Ocean, which is greater than a thousand miles from the closest coast of Africa.
“It’s never happened before. How – we – we – our departments of agriculture work with these countries,” Biden added.
The White House didn’t immediately respond to The Post’s request for details concerning the rail project.
The ocean mishap wasn’t Biden’s only hit upon Thursday.
The president also stumbled over Sunak’s title during a gathering on the White House – referring to the UK leader as “Mr. President” — almost immediately after the 2 leaders took their seats within the Oval Office.
“Well, Mr. President,” Biden began to say before suddenly correcting himself. “Mr. President? I just demoted you.

Sunak, 43, laughed at the error.
Biden also seemed to be confusing China with Canada when discussing China’s Belt and Road Initiative in Africa, almost attributing the “debt and confiscation program” to America’s northern neighbors.
“If we do not determine a way for these countries to grow and participate they usually have to — and have the opportunity to construct infrastructure — you realize, the Canadians — sorry, the Chinese have — they’ve the Belt and Road Initiative. Well, the Belt and Road Initiative seems to be a debt and confiscation program. It won’t go far,” the president said during a press conference.
Quite a few polls have shown that voters have concerns about Biden’s mental acuity.
A Washington Post-ABC poll released this month found that just 32% of voters consider Biden has the mental acuity needed to be president.
Already the oldest president in US history, Biden would have been 86 at the top of his second term.
