A “fairytale” wedding in Australia ended in a horrific tragedy on Monday night when a chartered bus carrying guests overturned, killing 10 people and injuring 25 more, police said.
The bus and its 58-year-old driver were hired to move the wedding guests and were taking the 53 attendees to their hotels after the party when it crashed right into a roundabout on Wine Country Drive in the town of Greta just after 11:30 p.m.
The motive force was arrested on the scene and shall be charged, Recent South Wales Deputy Police Commissioner Tracy Chapman said, without specifying what the fees can be.
She didn’t say whether speed was an element in the foggy road, but told reporters that “there’s enough information … for us to find out that there shall be tolls.”

In keeping with Chapman, the guests were attending a wedding on the Wandin Estate Winery in Recent South Wales and were taking a bus to their lodgings in the town of Singleton.
The injured were taken to hospitals by each helicopters and emergency vehicles.
One other 18 passengers who were on the bus on the time of the one-vehicle collision weren’t injured.

One attendee described the ceremony as a “fairy tale wedding” in an interview with Seven News.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has offered government assistance to the victims and their family members.
“For such a joyful day, in a gorgeous place, to finish such a terrible lack of life and injury is so cruel, so sad and so unfair,” said Albanese.
He added that it was particularly unfair given the tragic irony of hiring a bus in order that guests wouldn’t drive while intoxicated.
“People hire a bus for weddings to maintain their guests protected. And that only adds to the unimaginable nature of this tragedy,” he said.

The deadly disaster occurred in Australia’s Hunter Valley, a region known for its beautiful vineyards and a preferred wedding venue.
Footage from the scene showed a big bus lying on its side on top of the crushed railing. Some nearby residents later left flowers on the crash site in honor of the victims.
