Prince Harry’s ‘biggest mistake’ will probably be treated royally in ‘The Crown’.
The Netflix The British royal saga doesn’t delve into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s story within the upcoming final season – but it can still feature at the very least one of Harry’s most notorious incidents.
Season six will feature the Duke of Sussex’s Nazi costume scandal.
In response to peoplethe series featured scenes of the aftermath of Harry’s controversial alternative to decorate up as a Nazi soldier in 2005. The prince, who was 20 on the time, went to a masquerade ball wearing Nazi attire, complete with a swastika.
Actor Luther Ford will play him on screen and portray the snapshot and collapse of the tabloid.
Immediately afterwards, Harry released an announcement saying he was “very sorry if I offended or embarrassed anyone. It was the mistaken alternative of costume, for which I’m sorry.

Since then, Harry, who’s now 38, said he felt “ashamed”. In his Netflix docuseries “Harry and Meghan”, released in 2022, he said it was: “Probably one of the largest mistakes of my life. I used to be so ashamed after that. All I desired to do was get it right.”
He said he then spoke with the chief rabbi in London and a Holocaust survivor in Berlin. “I could have just ignored it and doubtless made the identical mistakes over and another time in my life. But I learned from it.”
In his diary “Spare” he also claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton caused a scandal and “howled with laughter” after they saw him within the outfit.

“I called Willy and Kate and asked what they thought. Nazi uniform, they said,” Harry wrote in The Backup.
“I hired him, plus a silly mustache, and went home. I’ve tried all the things. They each howled. Worse than Willy’s leotard! Rather more funny! And that was it again,” he said.
One publishing source he told Page Six“It’s strange the way you’d think Harry would take ownership of it and just move on and never involve his brother in it, but he makes it clear he feels very much William’s role within the scandal.”

The ultimate part of The Crown will probably be the one season to air after the death of Queen Elizabeth.
It would stop before including Meghan Markle, wife of Prince Harry. Showrunner Peter Morgan previously said hollywood reporter, “I just think you are getting so much more interesting.” [with time]. Meghan and Harry are on their journey and I do not know what their journey is or how it can end…
“I feel far more comfortable writing about things that happened at the very least 20 years ago. I even have a 20-year rule in my head. That is enough time and distance to actually understand something, understand its role, understand its position, understand its importance.”
