He won’t take it, no, he won’t take it.
Twister Sister frontman Dee Snider has a thing about people ‘folding up’ to cancel culture – weeks after he drew the ire of trans activists for agreeing with one other cult rocker’s criticism of imposing ideology on children gender.
‘You do not have to break down, you do not have to apologize when you’ve done nothing incorrect,’ 68-year-old Long Islander told Fox News Digital Saturday. “Should you did something incorrect, you recognize? Should you’ve done something incorrect, raped a woman, yes, you would like to do greater than just apologize, but at the identical time, it isn’t something you are strong in.
“But when you will have a position and beliefs, and people come to you because of that, everyone collapses!”
Last month, Snider agreed with Kiss’ Paul Stanley’s position on youth undergoing gender reassignment surgery.
“There’s a BIG difference between teaching acceptance and normalizing and even encouraging participation in a lifestyle that makes young children query their sexual identity as if it’s some kind of game, and in some cases parents allow it,” Stanley wrote on Twitter.
“There are people who as adults may resolve that reassignment is their needed selection but turn it into a game or parents normalize it as a natural alternative or imagine that because a little boy likes to play dress up in his sister’s clothes and a girl in her brother, we must always take them a step further down a path that’s removed from the innocence of what they’re doing,” Stanley added.

Snider, often a staunch supporter of left-wing politics, commented, “well said.” Like Stanley and Kiss, he and Twisted Sister were almost as famous for his or her makeup, hairstyles and outlandish costumes as they were for his or her music in their heyday.
” what? There was a time after I ‘felt beautiful’ too. Glad my parents didn’t jump to conclusions! Well said @PaulStanleyLive,” Snider tweeted.
The reaction was swift and led to San Francisco’s Pride festival dropping Twisted Sister’s rebellious hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It” as its official anthem and Snider’s scheduled appearance.
“In the long run, SF Pride and Dee mutually agreed to part ways,” the “heartbroken and offended” festival said in a statement, which also labeled Stanley’s remarks as “transphobic.”

Stanley later apologized after brushing off the outrage himself. “While my thoughts were clear, my words clearly weren’t” he wrote on Twitter.
“Most vital and above all, I support those that struggle with their sexual identity enduring constant hostility and people whose path leads to reassignment surgery. It’s hard to understand what kind of conviction one must feel to take such steps.”
Snider disagreed with one other rock star’s apology, saying “he didn’t say anything incorrect. , and he took his words back, and I won’t.
“I wasn’t joking after I wrote, ‘We can’t take it. I wasn’t kidding. I’m that guy and all the time can be.”
