The Queen of Pop was busy recording music with fellow hit-list Katy Perry hours before her shocking collapse last weekend. reports The Sun.
Madonna, 64, was found unconscious at her home in Recent York on Saturday and admitted to intensive care. She has since been released from the hospital after being diagnosed with a bacterial infection.
“Madonna has long admired Katy and so they’ve worked together before, but they’ve never been in a position to release anything,” an unidentified source told The Sun of Perry, 38.
Apparently, the ‘Material Girl’ singer has been ‘working around the clock’ to fine-tune her music and upcoming tour that are ‘second to none’, the source claims.
“In fact, all the pieces has now been placed on hold, but the proven fact that she was in the studio with Katy in the hours before she was dropped at the ICU shows how determined she was to maneuver forward despite feeling unwell,” the source said.
The Post contacted Perry and Madonna’s representatives for comment.
The day before she was found unconscious the “Like a Virgin” singer was walking in Manhattanstopping at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to view the Karl Lagerfeld exhibition.
Madonna’s long-time manager Guy Oseary confirmed her hospitalization on Wednesday, saying the “Evity” star “developed a serious bacterial infection that led to a stay in the ICU for several days.”
She was reportedly intubated in the hospital but is anticipated to make a full recovery.
Looks like she’s been fired Thursday.
Sources told TMZ she is bedridden and vomiting since leaving the hospital.
Reports say she suffered from a monthly fever how she persevered grueling trials for the upcoming “Celebration” tour, which has been placed on hold.
The 84-date North American and European episode was scheduled to start on July 15.
“It really woke her the hell up,” a member of the family said the Each day Mail.
A source claims that Madge lives an unhealthy life, “dressing thin”, believing “that she is invincible”.
“She is going to put profession and fame above health until her death,” the source said.
TMZ reported that the seven-time Grammy Award winner’s relatives are concerned that because she “doesn’t need to cancel her tour”, she won’t get enough rest to totally get better.
In truth, her family looked as if it would fear the worst while she was hospitalized.
“For the past few days, nobody really knew where this was going to go, and her family was preparing for the worst.” a relative told the Each day Mail.
“Everyone believed we’d lose her and that is the reality.”
