A healthy four-year-old girl died suddenly in Australia’s Northern Territory, leaving her family members and doctors looking for answers.
Millicent Edwards collapsed at home on April 14 and was rushed to the hospital where she was placed in a coma to stabilize her condition.
She was then transferred to the Adelaide Women’s and Kid’s Hospital in Australia, where 30 of her immediate family and friends gathered at her side.
But despite the tireless efforts of doctors, Millicent tragically died on June 16.
The reason behind her sudden death stays unknown.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist Millicent’s parents, Cody Edwards and Amanda Watt, take break day work to mourn their beloved daughter.
The positioning has raised over $34,000 since July 7.
Family friend Emma Bell shared her memories of Millicent, describing her as a vibrant, compassionate and extraordinary young girl who impacted the lives of everyone round her.
“Millicent was a vigorous, kind and special little girl who touched so many lives,” Ms Bell said via Each day mail.
“Millicent attended a local dance studio, childcare and preschool where she made many friends who adored her.
“Millicent was loved by everyone who met her and will at all times be missed.”
