Problem: Cocaine found by the Secret Service in the lobby of the West Wing of the White House last week.
The White House cocaine scandal continues to change (“WH flack Karine rips into Post,” July 8).
Is not it amazing that President Biden didn’t come out and announce what the public expects from a rustic’s leader – that the perpetrator of the crime who brought cocaine into the White House will probably be caught and punished severely?
It was the fire department that was called to the White House and conducted a chemical evaluation of the white powder and determined that it was in actual fact cocaine. Fortunately, it was not a deadly poison.
Democrats cannot blame Trump for this – but as frustrated as they’re, they’re probably trying.

What a wierd coincidence. Hunter is believed to be a drug addict. So far as we all know, no cocaine has ever been present in the White House before.
Nevertheless, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s explanation of how the cocaine got there may be that it might have been left there by a visitor.
Why would anyone risk walking into the White House with cocaine after which just leaving it there?
Unless he was doing a delivery.

Incredibly, no White House spokesperson will state unequivocally that the cocaine found there didn’t belong to Joe or Hunter Biden. Doesn’t the Biden team realize that this looks as if a tacit admission that it was?
Jean-Pierre dodged the query by refusing to answer. He doesn’t seem to realize the obvious: it is a query where any answer apart from “no” is “yes.”
Given Biden’s penchant for taking the truth calmly, you’d think he’d just say no, even when it is a lie. You will need to be wondering why the White House cannot find the words to deny it.
Given security at the White House, someone knows who it belongs to. If the claim says that the offender can’t be found, it more than likely implies that it’s the Hunter.

It’s amazing that the Secret Service is having trouble identifying the perpetrator who brought cocaine into the White House.
Go and counterfeit some $20 or $50 bills and see how long it takes for the government to find you.

The invention of cocaine near the White House Situation Room calls for a full criminal investigation.
Whoever is found guilty have to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If this contraband comes from Hunter Biden, it have to be the last straw.
He was an outrageous shame to our nation and first family. If he’s liable for this latest find, law enforcement cannot coddle him.
He have to be charged, tried and, if convicted, imprisoned. Enough of this jerk.

A white powder was present in the West Wing of the White House, prompting evacuations and raising the security alert level until officials confirmed it was not anthrax.
Considering they let a lifelong drug addict into the White House, it’s no wonder it turned out to be cocaine: nose candy for the jet crowd.
I predict some on the left will claim the coke was planted by a MAGA supporter to make Biden look bad.
Since there are security cameras throughout the White House, finding the offender should not be difficult. The FBI or Secret Service may even have evidence in the type of DNA or fingerprints.

It’s one thing to find cocaine in the White House, and hopefully it belonged to Hunter or one other member of the family.
If it didn’t and it was left there by someone from a tour, worker or cleaner, it sets a dangerous precedent – imagine how easy it might be to smuggle anthrax or ricin.
Most addicts fall out of the automotive. In that case, it’s only a coincidence. But when it proves the White House lacks security, we’re in trouble.
