Michael Jackson’s daughter is telling these web trolls to “Beat it”
Paris Jackson revealed Tuesday that she’s been the victim of web trolls who reportedly told her to kill herself after she failed to post a social media tribute to her late father and music icon.
Jackson, 25, took to Instagram to explain that Michael never liked celebrating his birthday and that by not posting anything, she was actually honoring her father.
“There have been times after I don’t post anything for my dad’s birthday. And other people lose their f–king mind,” stated Jackson within the video. “They told me to kill myself they usually’re mainly measuring my love from my very own father based off of what I post on Instagram.”
The “Eyelids” singer then claimed that her father — who died at 50 in June 2009 due to cardiac arrest brought on by an accidental overdose — hated when people would acknowledge his birthday and would refuse to tell his children his actual birthday because “he didn’t want us to, like, throw a party or anything like that.”
The video then cuts to Jackson acting at the Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park in Grand Junction, Colorado earlier within the day.
“It’s also my dad’s birthday,” said the musician to an applauding crowd.

“He would have been 65 years old today. And he put 50 years of blood, sweat, tears, love and fervour into doing what he did in order that I could arise here on stage in front of you and scream into a microphone. I owe the whole lot to him.”
The video then cuts back to Jackson who implores her father’s fans to honor his memory by raising awareness on certain global issues.
“There’s all the time ways to get entangled with raising awareness for climate change, doing so for the environment, animal rights, activism, these were things that he loved and he was very, very keen on” continued Jackson.
“And I can’t speak for him because you already know, I’m a different person and I don’t know, but I’m sure he would have loved that and so if you wish to, you already know, pay homage and honor him on his birthday, that might be my suggestion.”
While Paris was within the Centennial State, her brothers Prince Jackson, 26, and Blanket “Bigi” Jackson, 21, were spotted in Las Vegas engaging with fans.
