Conan O’Brien warned Danny Masterson — albeit jokingly — that he would be “caught soon” in an uncomfortable clip resurfaced on social media after the actor was jailed for rape.
Masterson, best known for his role as Steven Hyde on “That ’70s Show,” was sentenced to 30 years in prison Thursday for raping two women at the peak of his fame 20 years ago.
During a 2004 appearance on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien,” Masterson discussed his Long Island accent — or lack thereof — with O’Brien.

After telling the host that he’s lived in Los Angeles for a few decade, Masterson said that his accent “just goes away naturally, after which there’s also certain words that there’s nothing you possibly can do about.”

He then said that his friend, actor Bodhi Elfman, “all the time teases me.”
“He says ‘Hi, my name is Danny Masterson, would you prefer to touch my balls?’” Masterson said, emphasizing the ultimate word in a heavy accent.
“So why are you asking people to try this? That’s the more necessary query,” O’Brien responded.
“I mean, you bought ’em, you realize what I mean? Everybody should grab,” Masterson replied.
“I’ve heard about you,” O’Brien responded. “And also you’ll be caught soon, I do know you’ll.”
“I’ll,” Masterson said.
The clip gained traction on social media in the wake of Masterson’s sentencing on Thursday.

The actor, 47, remained stonefaced as Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo handed down the sentence and as his two victims described the trauma they’d experienced at his hands.
He was sentenced to fifteen years for every count, which is able to be served consecutively, the utmost sentence permitted under the law.
“If you raped me, you stole from me,” one in all the ladies testified in court, looking directly on the actor. “That’s what rape is, a theft of the spirit.”
“You might be pathetic, disturbed, and completely violent,” she added. “The world is best off with you in prison.”

Speaking in court, the victims testified that Masterson handed them drinks that may make them pass out before he violently rape them.
The actor drugged and violently raped each women in his Hollywood-area home in 2003 at the peak of his fame.
The actor and Church of Scientology member had maintained his innocence throughout the trial.
