Joe Biden was a pettiness when he took up residence in the White House, attempting to rid the Oval Office of the famous Resolute Desk simply because Donald Trump used it – and cursing his predecessor for the video game system, in response to a forthcoming book.
In The Fight of His Life, published Jan. 17, writer Chris Whipple writes that Biden “kicked the ex-guy” every time he took a friend on a personal tour of the presidential residence.
Biden vented his anger in an upstairs room where Trump had installed a large-screen TV and a golf simulator that allowed him to practice his swing against a virtual backdrop of famous golf courses.

“As for… the queen hole,” Biden said, showing the visitor the device, writes Whipple.
Biden also demanded that the Resolute Desk be faraway from the Oval Office – simply because Trump used it.
The famous piece of furniturecreated from the wood of a British warship, given to the United States by Queen Victoria and delivered to the Oval Office by John F. Kennedy, it was a staple of the West Wing for 40 years – but Biden wanted it removed in favor of 1 belonging to his Latest Deal hero , Franklin D. Roosevelt.

FDR’s desk “couldn’t be moved from the Roosevelt mansion in Hyde Park, Latest York,” writes Whipple, so the Resolute desk remained in place – for Biden, one more “ubiquitous” reminder of the forty fifth president.
The Post obtained a duplicate of the book, which also reveals that Biden feared his secret service had been infiltrated by “MAGA sympathizers” loyal to Trump.
