Madonna scolded a fan who wasn’t standing among the many cheering crowd during her show Thursday in Los Angeles before realizing they were seated in a wheelchair.
The “Like a Virgin” singer performed on the Kia Forum as a part of her “Celebration Tour” when she made the embarrassing remark.
“What are you doing sitting down over there? What are you getting sitting down?” Madonna asked, before walking to the sting of the stage to get a closer hearken to the fan.
That’s when the 80s pop icon realized she made the mortifying mistake.
“Oh, OK. Politically incorrect. Sorry about that,” Madonna said after realizing the fan was in a wheelchair. “I’m glad you’re here.”
The moment ignited outrage across social media after the TikTok video was shared with hundreds of thousands despite the 65-year-old singer taking accountability for her mistake.
“That’s a sad apology! What the heck. Refund them their ticket!!” one user demanded.
“She didn’t apologize enough,” one other claimed.
“Maam, there are 100 the reason why someone might sit- and all of them are valid,” one other noted.
The TikTok has been viewed over 2 million times since being posted on Saturday.
The singer kicked off her stint on the venue on Monday as a part of a five-leg run on the 18,000-seat arena in Inglewood.
Madonna had 80 shows on the docket at the beginning, in cities across North America and Europe.
The Celebration Tour has been running since October 2023 and concludes on April 26 in Mexico City.
The silly comment is the newest mishap the legendary “Open Your Heart” singer had while on stage during the tour, which can have fun 4 a long time of the singer’s hits.
In February, the Queen of Pop fell off stage while acting at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
A video showed Madonna falling backward in her chair during the show — but she recovered like a champ.
The tour almost didn’t even occur after a scary medical emergency before it was scheduled to start out.
Madonna spent several days in the ICU last summer due to a severe bacterial infection — which forced her to postpone the North American leg.
“It’s a miracle that I’m alive,” she said during her Brooklyn stop at Barclays Center in December, per USA Today. “I feel like I’m one among the lucky ones. … Let’s take a moment to be grateful.”
