Filmmaker Baz Luhrmann honored Lisa Marie Presley after her sudden death on the age of 54 on Thursday.
The “Elvis” director shared the heartfelt message of the sad news on Instagram, calling her death “shocking”.
“Over the past yr, the whole Elvis film family and I actually have felt the privilege of Lisa Marie’s loving embrace,” Australian wrote on Instagram to his 250,000 followers.
“Her sudden, shocking loss has shocked people around the globe. I do know her fans around the globe are joining me in sharing prayers of affection and support together with her mother, Priscilla, and her wonderful daughters Riley, Finley and Harper.”
“Lisa Marie, we will miss your warmth, smile and love,” added the director of “Moulin Rouge” and “The Great Gatsby”.
Meanwhile, Austin Butler, who portrayed Lisa Marie’s late father Elvis Presley within the 2022 Luhrmann biopic, also paid tribute after the news.
“My heart is totally devastated by the tragic and unexpected lack of Lisa Marie, Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla,” Butler said in a press release to The Post.
“I’m eternally grateful for the time I used to be lucky enough to be near her vibrant light and will all the time cherish the peaceful moments we shared. Her warmth, love and genuineness will all the time be remembered.”
Lisa Marie died after her heart stopped twice, prompting doctors to declare her brain dead based on TMZ sources.
The singer attended Tuesday’s Golden Globes alongside her mother, 77-year-old Priscilla, to look at Butler, 31, win the gong for his role because the singer in Blue Suede Shoes.
“Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I will love you ceaselessly,” Butler said during his speech.
That evening, Elvis and Priscilla’s only child appeared precariously on his feet in footage captured by the paparazzi. She also spoke more slowly than usual in pre-show interviews.
