An impromptu trip to Hungary resulted in two friends spending their holidays greater than 500 miles from their intended destination.
sophia alice, she shared her misfortunes with a friend, Ben Kennedy, after he tried to surprise her with a trip to Budapest, Hungary, but by accident bought plane tickets to Bucharest, Romania.
The couple realized their mistake once they were queuing to board the plane when the boarding gate read “Bucharest”, the capital of Romania, instead of Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Within the film with the words “Just if you thought you booked a flight to Budapest”, the Ryanair boarding sign displays “Bucharest 08:00” while the duo says the word “st” several times with a video voiceover.
Responding to various commentators asking in the event that they had gone to Romania, Alice replied with an enthusiastic “yes.”
“Yes, we did, of course we did, it was great,” Alice said before explaining how the trip began.
“My best friend lives normally in Australia, now he has gone to Latest Zealand, he got here and gave me a surprise, I had no idea he was coming,” said Alice.
On his first surprise visit, Kennedy also surprised Alice with plane tickets.
“Then it was like a surprise, and I also booked us a trip somewhere in Eastern Europe, and yes, we ended up in Bucharest, Romania,” Alice told her TikTok audience.
The duo shrugged off the unexpected detour of their plans.
Alice shared moments from a Romanian escape, showcasing different cities they traveled to, the food, and even a concert.
In one other movie the couple posed holding hands in various locations within the European country, including in Bran Castle in Transylvania, higher often known as Dracula’s Castle.
Some commentators had a bit of fun with the mishap, asking in the event that they made it home with none problems.
“Watch out not to mix Austria with Australia,” one TikTok user said in the unique post.
One user named Frequent Flyer assured Alice that she would not miss much, saying “Truthfully, Bucharest is prettier than Budapest.”
Romania is probably the most underrated city of all of the cities I have been to – there’s a lot to do there! It happened for a reason,” one other commenter added.
A Latest York resident had a similar experience when he tried to fly to Sydney, Australia, but actually flew to the small town of Sidney, Montana.
Kingsley Burnett selected a flight to the airport with the code SDY instead of SYD.
