Customers who mourned the lack of their beloved McDonald’s Snack Wraps in 2016 will soon find a way to satisfy their cravings at a competitor.
Starting Tuesday, Wendy’s is introducing the Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap as a lighter menu option for those on the lookout for a recent snack obsession.
Tortilla Wrap features diced grilled chicken, grated cheddar cheese, fresh romaine lettuce and ranch dressing.
In a Thursday press release, Wendy’s touted the brand new on-the-go snack as “the proper full-flavored meal for people on the go.”
“It’s no secret that at Wendy’s we all know the Ranch,” said John Li, vp of culinary innovation at The Wendy’s Co. our offer. From our classic creamy ranch sauce to a warm wrap perfect for those on the move, our team has created a wrap that is worthy of the foremost menu.”
McDonald’s dropped Snack Wraps in 2016 attributable to poor sales and complaints from franchisees that tortilla wraps with items like crispy chicken and vegetables were too difficult to make.
Wendy’s tortilla twist will use grilled chicken, not fried, and is meant to fill the gap left by its golden arch rival.
On Tuesday there will even be a recent lemonade with blueberries and pomegranate and Cobb Salad with grilled chicken.
A tasty recent drink is launched because the weather warms up.

The brand new Cobb Salad features smoked apple tree bacon, diced tomatoes, grilled chicken, crispy fried onions and diced egg.
Fast food chains are all the time adapting their menus to maintain customers fresh and interested.
Last weekend, Yum Brands’ Taco Bell brought back a blast from the past by re-introducing fan favorites Volcano Burrito and Volcano Tacos, complete with optional lava sauce.
KFC brought back its iconic and fast-selling Double Down Sandwich for a limited time in March.
Meanwhile, McDonald’s is currently testing a partnership with Krispy Kreme to sell donuts at roughly 160 McDonald’s restaurants within the Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky, areas.
