Even famous country singers get stage fright sometimes – at the very least those that play them on TV.
Hayden Panettiere—who played country singer Juliette Barnes in all six seasons Nashville from 2012 to 2018 – she recently recalled how terrified she was when she first recorded music for the show.
“I wasn’t trained. Scared, scared, st, shaking,” Hayden told E! News’ Run down. “I’m going in, already apologizing to the producers because I’m like, ‘Look, it’ll take me an extended time to warm up, but I’ll get there. I’ll do it, I promise.”
Then things took a turn, and she or he had the probably response of all.
“They told me halfway through the shoot, ‘All of the producers are going to return by,'” Hayden told the host Erin Lim Rhodes. “I almost threw up, I pooped, I passed out. I believe I called someone and said, ‘Nobody told me,’ while hiccupping and crying.”
Hayden, after all, would eventually get more comfortable and begin recording an extended list of memorable songs Nashville. Her track “Telescope” from the show’s first season even made it onto the Billboard Country Songs Chart in 2012.
