“I noticed she looked a bit shocked,” Apple recalls about her post-collision mom during her testimony. “And I asked what happened and he or she said, ‘That asshole bumped into me. It fell right into my back.”
The teenager added: “She was in shock and decided to not ski for the remainder of the day, which she never does. It all the time stays. But she decided to get off because she was in shock and a little in pain.”
In her own testimony, Paltrow said the skiing trip was significant for her children and now husband Brad Falczukwho has two children of his own from a previous relationship. As she explained, “[This] it was the first time Brad and I introduced our children and did something together to see if we could get our families together.”
