The corporate on Thursday named Asad Ayaz its first brand director, which can require the Disney veteran to create a singular vision for the corporate for its marketing campaigns.
Ayaz’s appointment comes as Iger, who recently returned to House of Mouse, began reorganizing the corporate’s structure to place content production, streaming, and marketing within the hands of creators. It also desires to cut costs by $5.5 billion. The corporate has also recently carried out its first wave of layoffs as it goals to chop 7,000 jobs this 12 months.

He’ll oversee the Disney100 campaign, which celebrates the corporate’s one hundredth anniversary.
