Experts say the emerging technology, which is predicated on subatomic quantum mechanics, could speed up the event of artificial intelligence to lightning speed.

“We could cure cancer with quantum computing combined with artificial intelligence,” Lisa Palmer, chief AI strategist at AI Leaders, told The Post. “There is a huge advantage here … like switching from a bicycle to a quick sports automotive.”
