The passenger stayed filmed swearing and grabbing the handheld remote control for his shirt during a physical altercation in the front of a Virgin Australia plane.
The shocked passengers looked on as the confrontation incident unfolded in front of business class passengers and just outside the cockpit while the aircraft was stationary at Townsville Airport on Wednesday night.
The pilot might be heard telling the man to “go” or “they’ll take someone”, but the situation looked as if it would escalate much more before the pilot confirmed “you are gone, mate”.
A man might be seen grabbing the pilot’s shirt along with his fists as the pilot repeatedly told him to “let go”.

The person was shouting obscenities as he was pushed backwards towards the plane’s door and out of view of the camera, with the help of a flight attendant and a fellow passenger.
“You are a fucking idiot,” the man might be heard saying. “I didn’t do anything c…”
After what gave the impression to be one other physical altercation involving a flight attendant, the pilot might be heard giving instructions to “call the police”.
Only then did the passenger finally say he was leaving.
The video was uploaded to TikTok by passenger Ben Mckay, who claimed the man had “one too many” before flying to Sydney.
He praised the crew for his or her “amazing” handling of the situation.

Other commenters on the video agreed.
One flight attendant said “though we’re trained to do it, it’s still awful” and said the man can be placed on a no-fly list.
One other person added: “Rattling crew did an amazing job. They shouldn’t should take care of it… but rattling, that stewardess was incredibly awesome.”
Virgin Australia said a passenger was faraway from the plane for unruly and disruptive behavior and police were called to the airport and travel restrictions were placed on him.
“The protection of guests and crew is our primary priority and we don’t tolerate any form of unruly behavior on Virgin Australia flights,” an organization spokeswoman told news.com.au.
“Incidents are referred to the Australian Federal Police or State Police as appropriate.”
news.com.au contacted Queensland Police about the incident.
The Australian Federal Police launched Operation Sleigh ahead of Christmas, which involved increasing Christmas patrols at nine airports under their control to tackle intoxication, abusive and disruptive behaviour.
AFP responded to almost 20,000 incidents at Australian airports in 2022 and charged greater than 360 people.
Townsville Airport shouldn’t be one in every of the nine airports AFP is answerable for.
