Tom Sizemore, the ‘Saving Private Ryan’ star who forged a long profession in Hollywood amid battles with addiction and clashes with law enforcement, has died. He was 61 years old.
The veteran actor’s death from a brain aneurysm at his Los Angeles home on February 18 was confirmed by his manager.
Sizemore “passed peacefully in his sleep today at St. Joseph in Burbank. His brother Paul and twins Jayden and Jagger were by his side,” Charles Lago told Page Six.
The news of Sizemore’s death comes after Lago revealed on Monday that his medical care was at a critical turning point.
“Today, doctors informed his family that there was no hope and advisable the decision to finish his life,” Lago said in a statement received by The Post. He added that Sizemore’s family “selected end-of-life matters.”
Star he was fighting for his life at Windfall Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, after an unidentified person found Sizemore unconscious and called 911, in keeping with reports at the time.
Born November 29, 1961 in Detroit, Sizemore studied at Wayne State University and earned an MA in Theater from Temple University in 1986.

Sizemore’s career-defining role got here in the 1998 blockbuster Saving Private Ryan, starring Sgt. Mike Horvath.
“I had a wonderful time working with Tom Hanks – we were sort of ‘good Tom’ and ‘bad Tom’ and you’ll be able to guess who was who,” Sizemore wrote of “Saving Private Ryan” in his 2013 memoir. “By Some Miracle, that I got out of there.”

Sizemore’s other notable movies include Pearl Harbor and Rush. He also appeared in six episodes of the TV series Twin Peaks in 2017 and voiced Sonny Forelli in the 2002 video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

“I shot the last scene of ‘Heat’ and that is once I was going to rehab but I had my assistant drive the automobile… and I dove into the back seat of a moving vehicle with my prosthetics on and drove to the Loews Hotel and I checked in under the names of Amiel Gooch and Bob [DeNiro] he finally tracked me down there, and once I knew he was coming towards me, I used to be hanging off the balcony,” explained Sizemore.

Sizemore was married to The Daring and the Beautiful actress Maeve Quinlan from 1996 to 1999. Quinlan called the police after a violent argument at their home in 1997. She later dropped the charges, attributing the incident to “big misunderstanding”.
Sizemore’s abusive repute endured. In 2003, he was convicted of domestic violence against his then girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss. ‘The Hollywood Madam’ had only negative things to say about her ex-lover in a 2017 interview from USA Today.
“He used to bring home these strange things. They were so demeaning,” Fleiss said of Sizemore’s alleged porn preference.
“Nobody may have more disgusting stories in Hollywood than him,” she added. “I’ve handled a lot of individuals who did a lot of various things. It’s different with Tom. He’s on a whole other level.”
Sizemore dated Janelle McIntire from 2003 to 2006. McIntire gave birth to the couple’s twin boys, Jagger and Jayden Sizemore, in July 2005.
Months later, a sex tape titled “The Tom Sizemore Sex Scandal” was released, purportedly showing the actor engaging in hardcore scenes with up to 3 women at a time, the distributor Live entertainment he claimed at the time. Sizemore pleaded no contest in 2006 to methamphetamine use outside a California motel and was sentenced to 36 months probation.
In 2009, he was arrested twice in Los Angeles on suspicion of beating up his ex-spouse and allegedly transporting or selling a controlled substance. Los Angeles Times.

That November, there was a former child actress Kiersten Pyke allegedly Hollywood reporter that Sizemore molested her on the set of Natural Born Killers in 2003 when she was just 11 years old. He was banned from the set for a short time as a result of the accusation, but was allowed back to finish the project.
The actress filed a lawsuit against Sizemore in May 2018, searching for $3 million, alleging that his alleged abuse caused long-term emotional problems. His publicist denied the allegation, and a Utah judge dismissed the lawsuit in August 2020.
