Adam Hadwin’s wife Jessica wasn’t holding back on social media after the PGA Tour skilled was detained by security at the Canadian Open on Sunday.
Hadwin was mauled by a security guard as he ran onto the 18th green at the Oakdale Golf & Country Club in Toronto to have fun his good friend Nick Taylor, who made history as the first Canadian to win the RBC Canadian Open in 69 years.
After thwarting Hadwin’s champagne shower plan, Jessica revealed on Instagram and Twitter that she was recovering from a tackle – and trolled the Canadian pro in multiple posts.
“Sorry to leave you all on hold, had to get the toddler ready for bed,” Jessica tweeted, referring to the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Maddox.
“I’m pleased to report that @ahadwingolf remains to be alive and in true Canadian form, he has apologized to his security guard for being detained.”

Hadwin, 35, ran to Taylor, spraying a bottle of champagne after Taylor’s amazing 72-meter shot to eagle on the fourth play-off hole and claim victory.
Security at the tournament – which began two days after news bombarded the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merger – seemed to be confusing Hadwin with a fan at the moment.
“Omg, I can not handle all these different angles,” Jessica wrote in a separate tweet, including a slow motion shot of her husband being attacked by security.
“Focus the bodyguard’s laser on the goal. Adam’s involvement with a giant bottle of champagne. So many things to do with each recent POV.

In one other post on her Instagram story, Jessica added: “Also to everyone in my news, he’s alive and (perhaps) well!”
It didn’t seem like Hadwin was injured.
The nurse joked about the viral moment in a series of tweets and exchanges with users.

Jessica shared the monkey meme on a flip phone and wrote: “I’m ready to call Adam and ask him why he’s staring at another person a lot.”
When someone replied “Security 18 just took care of Adam in your behalf lol” Jessica replied “What can I say. I even have connections.
Toronto sports reporter Kayla Gray shared a video of Hadwin’s fight on Twitter with the caption: “Safety is IMPORTANT at the Canadian Open.”

Jessica responded to the tweet with an emoji saying “Call my lawyer!”
Hadwin also had a good time with the gear on Twitter.
“Put it in the Louvre!” he wrote, attaching a photo of the equipment.
Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen tweeted: “@ahadwingolf asked me what it’s like to make a living, well here you go haha.”
Hadwin replied, “I feel I’ll follow golf!”
