– Do you offer every other services besides writing? In actual fact, what are all of the services you offer?

I also collaborated with marketing directors in creating content calendars and buyer personas. Recently, some of my clients have contacted us about reviving published content to make it more website positioning friendly, updating old sources, and adding personality with latest quotes or prolonged content. So I feel I’m editing a bit too!
– Do you’ve any advice for individuals who wish to hire you? How should they prepare and what should they do before contacting you?
In front of a possible client reaches out to meI hope they clearly understand what they need. I really like taking a look at task sheets, content strategies, editorial guidelines, and content calendars. I may even ask questions on workflow, payments, deadlines, and the way you manage the verification process. I prefer working with clients who use project management software (like Asana or Basecamp) and/or content marketing platforms (like Contently or Skyword) to collaborate. This approach improves the method of communication and cooperation.
– Do you’ve any habits that you just imagine contributed to your success?
I feel that my success as a freelancer is basically based on my belief in well-being. I consciously start the day, take heed to my body, rest if obligatory and take a nap most days. There is no badge of honor in burning out and working from morning to midnight. I learned an extended time ago that I’m more creative and productive once I spend less hours at my desk and spend the remaining of my time taking care of my physical and mental health. After I’m not taking a look at my keyboard, or exploring a nature trail with my dog Leo, attending yoga classes at my local studio, visiting a mental health therapist, playing within the kitchen, reading for pleasure, or spending time with family members. So many of my creative ideas come to me once I’m not sitting at my desk, so I’ve definitely discovered the worth of rest and play as part of my marketing strategy.
– What was the perfect advice you bought firstly of your profession?
One of the perfect pieces of advice I’ve heard early in my profession is just do your thing. As a freelancer, it’s very easy to fall into the rhythm of imitating what others are doing or reflecting your employer’s prior schedules and expectations. You do not have to work from 9 to five. You do not have to write down the identical amount of words as others. You may start a private blog as a side project. You may do whatever you would like, which positively affects your enterprise goals and creative needs. This might mean spending the weekend at a seminar to learn more about your craft or relaxing in a complicated hotel. Do what is sweet for you and keep doing it.
“More and more individuals are selecting freelance. What do you think that are the benefits of such a way of life?
There are lots of benefits to adopting an independent lifestyle. Personally, I really like the liberty and flexibility of working at times of the day once I feel most inspired, focused and creative. Since I do not have to hit the clock, I can mix my private time with writing duties and assignments. It brings a pleasant balance to my days.
– Do you think that there are any disadvantages?
I feel working as a freelancer can be very difficult for individuals who are usually not motivated, haven’t any time or are usually not in a position to commit. Successful freelancers must find a way to advertise their services, which will be difficult for many who are only starting out as it might seem selfish. I might advise these people to keep in mind that you’re promoting your enterprise. Yes, meaning promoting yourself, but you furthermore may explain the services that generate your income.
– What do you’re keen on most about your job?
I really like that I’m continually learning about latest topics and meeting latest people. I got here out of so many interviews with information I never expected to collect, insight into myself, and a latest respect for various situations. It’s never boring at my desk. Besides, you never wish to play Trivial Pursuit with me. This profession has led me to gather just a few random bits of knowledge.
– What’s the perfect option to organize multitasking and private life?
Use the calendar! I was once a freelancer with a perpetual to-do list that stressed me out. Using a calendar with time blocks allowed me to get a practical take a look at how much time it actually takes to finish various tasks. When my day is filled on the calendar, that is it. I used to book an excessive amount of and attempt to do an excessive amount of in a day once I was just using the list. That said, all things – work and personal – go to my calendar to raised organize and manage all the things that should be done in the course of the day.
