Safety first!
Singer Bebe Rexha was photographed Friday night wearing goggles in the course of the penultimate show of her “Best F’n Night Of My Life” tour after the singer was hit in the attention by a fan who threw a mobile phone at her.
Rexha, 33, donned sunglasses and a sparkling blue tank top as she performed her hit “I’m Good”.
Before donning her superhero sunglasses, the “Say my name” singer told viewers that she only had two rules for the evening: don’t throw your phones and rejoice.
The high-energy show featured several Rexha hits including “I’m Not High, I’m in Love”, “Miracle Man” and “I’m a Mess and Sacrifice”.
The clip with the singer wearing goggles was posted on social media where several of the singer’s fans turned up delighted with the singer’s recent addition.
“He’s wearing goggles because he doesn’t play anymore,” one user commented.
“Osh-approved safety glasses,” the opposite person laughed contacting the Occupational Safety and Health Office.
One user called using the goggles a “smart move” while one other praised Rexha for ending the tour strong.
The Post contacted Rexha for comment.
Rexha’s recent statement comes after she was forced to cancel the rest of her Recent York performance and required three stitches after an insane fan threw a mobile phone and hit the singer squarely in the attention.
Nonetheless, the singer returned to the stage in the course of the Philadelphia leg of the tour and joked that while everyone was there to rejoice, “just please don’t use your phones on your face today, I’m begging you.”
The person, identified as 27-year-old Nicolas Malvagna, was later arrested by police and charged with assault, harassment, attempted assault and harassment.
Based on police, Malvagna claimed he thought it might be “fun” to throw a phone on the pop star.
Rexha’s attack is one among a series of comparable attacks within the scene.
Just a few days later, Ava Max, 29, suffered a watch injury during a performance in Los Angeles after a fan managed to get on stage and slap the “Not Your Barbie Girl” singer.
Country singer Kelsea Ballerini, 29, was also there attacked on stage by a fan who threw a bracelet to the “If You Go Down” singer, forcing her to stop performing.
The country singer released a press release via Instagram on Thursday saying she was feeling superb and recovering.
“Hi. I’m superb,” the singer wrote. “Someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the attention and it scared me greater than it hurt.”
“We are able to all have triggers and layers of fear much deeper than what’s shown,” continued Ballerini. “And that is why I got here off stage to calm down and be certain that that me, the band, the crew and the group feel protected to proceed.”
“That is all I ever want is for shows to be a protected place for all of us. I like you guys and I appreciate your concern,” Ballerini said, before adding that she plans to make the last two shows of her tour “the very best yet.”
The shocking moment went viral just minutes after Ballerini left the stage after a temporary chat with the violinist, who ran to ascertain on the singer.
“Can we just speak about what happened?” – Ballerini asked the group when she returned to the stage. “All I care about is keeping everyone protected. In the event you ever feel unsafe, tell someone around you.”
It’s currently unknown whether the person responsible has been detained by the authorities.
