Mercedes-Benz and BMW took the wraps off electric concept cars as they appear to meet up with Tesla within the premium end of the market.
On the IAA auto show in Munich, Mercedes showed off the Mercedes-Benz Concept CLA Class while BMW revealed the BMW Vision Neue Klasse.

BMW said the automotive will contain what it calls Panoramic Vision, a heads-up display which projects information on the windscreen on the eyeline of the driving force.
The corporate said it will first be available within the Neue Klasse. Each passenger and driver will give you the option to interact with the Panoramic Vision feature, BMW said.
There have been few details on range and charging. But BMW said the brand new generation of its technology will improve the charging speed of the Neue Klasse models by as much as 30 percent, along with boosting their range by as much as 30 percent.
BMW says the Vision Neue Klasse electric automotive has all of the classic features the brand is understood. BMW said the 21-inch aerodynamic wheels “pay tribute to the classic cross-spoke design inspired by motorsports.”
