Looks like Bruce Springsteen wasn’t born to run up the stairs.
The boss caused sighs on the web after an incredible fall on stage during a weekend performance in the Netherlands.
Video of a falling star gathered 7.4 million views on TikTok as fans expressed concern about the safety of the “Dancing In The Dark” singer.
Springsteen, 73, and the E Street Band released their hit single “Ghosts” in 2017 Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam.
Things took a turn after a member of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame tried to climb the stairs to the stage with a guitar around his neck, ending up tripping and falling to the floor as the fans gasped.
“If I Should Fall Behind” lay for a number of seconds, and bandmates immediately ran over and helped him up.
Fortunately, Springsteen turned out to be unharmed during an impromptu stage dive when he stood up with a smile and joked, “Goodnight everyone.” The multiple Grammy winner ended the concert like a champion.
Fans reacted quickly to the leak on stage. “It wasn’t a excellent move by BOSS” one viewer joked on Twitter, while one other wrote“He’s happening, down, down, down… but he’s up and he’s OK.”
The third praised the Boss for his quick recovery, writing: “He just laughed about it and gave us all a unbelievable show.
Nevertheless, other crueller trolls on TikTok have likened the legend to US President Joe Biden, whose repeated wiping while climbing stairs has turn out to be a joke in conservative circles.
