A Budweiser distributor in Missouri is canceling events involving the beer giant’s famous Clydesdale horses as Bud Light faces boycott threats over a marketing partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Wil Fischer Distributing has reportedly decided to cancel all of its shows in Clydesdale, including one scheduled for Springfield, Missouri, last week, citing safety concerns for his or her employees, according to KOLR10-TV.
Clydesdales – long featured in Bud Super Bowl commercials, roaming snowy landscapes and pulling carts of beer – have been used to promote Anheuser-Busch beers for many years.
“We’re not going to comment on the matter … the whole lot remains to be delicate on social media,” one executive, Wil Fischer, told The Post, requesting anonymity.
Observers say Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch, is teaming up with Mulvaney in hopes of encouraging a younger audience, which research has shown is increasingly avoiding alcohol, to devour its beer.
However the brand appears to be alienating older drinkers, sparking fear amongst distributors, who’re said to be “frightened” by Mulvaney’s partnership.

“We contacted a handful of ABs [Anheuser-Busch] distributors who’ve been spooked, especially within the Heartland and South, and even then of their more rural areas.” according to a Beer Business Each day report reviewed by Fox News.
Beer Business Each day said it was assessing the situation “only from a marketing and sales standpoint”, noting that current figures are very limited, but “it seems likely that Bud Light saw sales drop in some markets over the bank holiday weekend” as customers from rural areas are also almost definitely to have fun Easter.
“Whether this may last, or whether promoting will generate a compensating surge in demand across ideological divisions in metropolitan areas stays to be seen,” the publication said, adding that Bud Light will find it difficult to “appeal to the sensibilities of a recent generation of drinkers” without offending some longtime drinkers. customers.

Bud Light was behind his decision to hire Mulvaney as a brand ambassador, noting that the brand works with a whole lot of influencers to connect with all of its customers.
“Anheuser-Busch works with a whole lot of influencers across all of our brands, which is certainly one of the various ways we are able to genuinely connect with audiences across demographics and passions,” an organization spokesperson said. told Fox News.
“We occasionally produce unique commemorative tins for fans and brand influencers comparable to Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative tin was a private milestone gift and isn’t on the market to most of the people.”

Most recently, Mulvaney responded to her critics by sharing a video of herself singing Stephen Sondheim’s “No One Is Alone” from Into the Woods.
Within the clip, taken from an event she hosted on the Rainbow Room to have fun Women’s Day 365, Mulvaney wore a black and pink Audrey Hepburn style ball gown.
“Thanks everyone for making me feel supported, I’m not alone ️️ #trans” – she signed the post.
