After months of speculation, an autopsy has revealed the cause of death of ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ and ‘The Rookie’ star Tyler Sanders, who was found dead at his Los Angeles home in June.
In accordance with the Los Angeles County health worker, the 18-year-old “Fear The Walking Dead” actor died from the consequences of fentanyl, which authorities declared an accident, TMZ reported.
The coroner noted that Sanders sent a text message to his friend the night before he died, telling them he was using the drug. Nevertheless, the previous child star didn’t reply to messages after her initial text.
Authorities also discovered straw and white powder within the room where he died, in keeping with the report.
And while Sanders had no known health problems, he reportedly had a history of substance abuse, including heroin, cocaine, LSD, mushrooms and Xanax.

The report comes after the Californian was found dead in his Los Angeles home, where he lived alone, on June 16. Police responded to a call regarding a person not respiration, after which they found the teenager alone and soon presumed him dead from then on.
On the time, Sanders’ cause of death was listed as “deferred”, meaning the health worker “requests further investigation into the death, including additional tests. After the tests/tests return, the doctor re-evaluates the case and determines the cause of death.”

The tragic news comes lower than two weeks after authorities revealed that the late TikTok star Cooper Noriega, who was also found dead in Los Angeles in June, had died from “the combined effects of alprazolam, fentanyl and lorazepam.”
