A confused cow kept firefighters busy after calling out two calls inside 24 hours after she was found in the wild in western Sydney, Australia.
Fire and rescue teams were called to Caddens Corner after a cow was spotted wandering around the mall.
Firefighters and police were in a position to capture the animal and move it to the grounds of Western Sydney University in Werrington for overnight storage.
Nonetheless, the cow was unable to remain out of trouble for long.
One other emergency call was sent to the animal after it was found trapped as much as its belly in mud at a campus dam.
Once again, the fireplace department and police together with campus security were called to rescue the cow.
They used a 38-millimeter fire hose to create a makeshift lasso, threw it around the cow’s neck, and pulled it out of the mud.
The cow was exhausted and will not stand after attempting to escape from the mud.
Concerned firefighters stayed together with her as she recovered, ensuring she didn’t re-enter the dam.
The mystery surrounding the cow’s origin and owner continues as authorities try and return it home.
