“Danger!” continues to be a mainstay of the game show for a lot of viewers, but there isn’t any denying that it has been receiving loads of criticism currently.
James Holzhauerone of the most successful contestants of all time, he has an idea why fans have been so frustrated with the show currently: behind-the-scenes issues with the show’s crew.
In a recent interview with TV Insider, Holzhauer was asked about any changes he would make to the show if he could, and his answer was definitely interesting.
“I’ll say there was loads of turnover behind the scenes,” he began. “The entire production team has modified, so you possibly can see that some things were lost after they modified hands there.”
He continued, “I believe it’s still a fantastic show, but it surely could use some tweaking here and there. Some of the questions might be a bit tougher than before.”
Holzhauer was in “danger!” long enough to know what he’s talking about.
He won 32 straight games in 2019 and ranks all the way in the top 10 single-game wins list.
With regards to the record for the highest regular season wins, he’s second only to Ken Jennings.

Many fans would probably agree along with his assessment that the “query writing might be just a little sharper” as that has been the major criticism for a lot of episodes this season.
In an episode earlier this week, the Ultimate Threat category was “Waterworld” and the clue read: “Bass Strait separates Tasmania and mainland Australia, and hydrographers argued over which of these 2 larger bodies of water is [sic] Hi.”
The right answer was deemed “Indian and Pacific Oceans”, which was guessed by two contestants, but fans felt the query was not fair.
“Australians would say, what are the Pacific and Southern Oceans? Their definition of the Southern Ocean extends all the method to the southern coast of their continent,” said a surprised viewer on the program’s YouTube page.
One other fan responded to the geography comment by writing: “The query is badly phrased: I believe the default stance of Australians on this issue could be, ‘What are the Southern Ocean and the Tasman Sea?’ but you do America.
This Monday’s episode featured a category called Movie Mashup, and each contestants and viewers were confused by the directions.
The $1,200 tip read, “Keep your class, Kali! The 2004 San Diego newscaster “and” the structure of the 1984 Indiana Jones title.”
None of the contestants tried to guess, and the correct answer was revealed as “Ron Burgundy and the Temple of Doom”.
The $1,600 tip read: “Alan Rickman’s Die Hard villain “wants those detonators” from the 2002 Great Dane! One participant tried and incorrectly answered: “Hans Gruber Beethoven”.
Host Mayim Bialik informed them that the correct answer was “Hans Gruber and Scooby-Doo”.

“This category of videos was horrific,” one Twitter user wrote. “Not even a mashup or ‘pun’.” Just two random things. Terrible.”
“Well, this episode was [trash]added one other.
The opposite problem recently was what’s mentioned in “Jeopardy!” world as “triple stumpers” – clues that none of the three participants solve.
Viewers called these cases “painful” and lots of wondered if the problem was that the directions were too hard or if the participants were unfamiliar with the topics.

One episode had 23 such triple stumpers, just one short of the show’s record of 24.
Producer Sarah Foss touched on this during an episode of “Inside Jeopardy!” podcast saying, “We’ll forget it ever happened.”
