Draymond Green sees the Warriors as “very fragile” after a tricky period of away defeats.
The Golden State defense star saw the Warriors go 1-5 away, including two losses to the Knicks and the Nets. The defending champions are currently eleventh within the Western Conference with a 15-18 record, and are 3-16 away from home.
“It isn’t something you’ll be able to fix with the snap of a finger,” Green he told reporters on Friday. “You might have to work through these issues to achieve that confidence. It just doesn’t show up.”
Golden State is currently without Stephen Curry after the two-time MVP suffered a shoulder injury against the Pacers on November 14. The Warriors also played without key starter Andrew Wiggins, together with rotational players Donte DiVincenzo and JaMychal Green.

“As much as you would like to think, ‘Oh, it’ll be okay and this guy will probably be back. …’ No, no, no, Green said. “You will need to work [for] positive results, positive feelings that ultimately provide you with a confidence boost…
“You’ll be able to do whatever you wish while on the road and never at home, however it’s mental. It is a team that has mental problems. And that makes it hard to beat the rest.”
The Warriors will return to the Chase Center on Sunday for his or her Christmas matchup against the Grizzlies.
