Future NBA Hall of Famer turned Taiwanese basketball superstar Dwight Howard not desires to speak English.
In a recent video shared on Tik Tok, Howard recorded an ad in Taiwan with cheerleaders surrounding him as he promoted the product.
He wrote on the video – wherein he’s smiling – “I don’t need to talk English.”
“Don’t speak to me in English about any negativity, hate or slander 🤔 my Tiktok is a spot for positivity, inspiration, laughter and smile 🤷🏾♂️”, Howard captioned the video on his TikTok account.
Howard has been a significant star in Taiwan since signing after sitting out your entire 2021 season waiting for an NBA team to sign him.
When it became clear that there was no interest from NBA teams, the 36-year-old decided to sign with the Taoyuan Leopards the biggest contract within the history of Taiwanese basketball for 1,000,000 dollars.
Howard got off to a wild start in Taiwan with 38 points, 25 rebounds, nine assists and nine blocks on his Asian debut.
The Leopards had a dismal season going 6-24, although one in all those wins – a 120-108 decision over TaiwanBeer HeroBears – involved an enormous brawl wherein Howard was one in all the 12 players fired.
The 37-year-old later complained that he was attempting to play the peacemaker amongst fist-throwing parties.
Howard averaged 23.2 points, 16.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists within the regular season and looked like he was practicing his vocals within the offseason.
Perhaps he’s preparing to perform in Hollywood after the top of his profession.
