Dylan Mulvaney sought a change of scenery in Peru on Monday to “feel secure” as the blow from her partnership with Bud Light continues to unfold.
A transgender influencer has said she not feels secure in the US after drawing anger from critics for being the representative of a beer brand in the March Madness contest.
Returning to social media in April after a decent hiatus, Mulvaney now appears to be traveling alone around the world to get away from things at home.
Together with a video of her interacting with llamas, the 26-year-old said she booked a visit to South America in a desperate attempt to “feel something”.
“Good surprise,” she told fans in a video on TikTok. “I’m in Peru! I’m in Machu Picchu. Is not it beautiful?
“I got here here to feel something. And I definitely have. I used to be doing shamanic ceremonies that were price 10 years of therapy, it was wild,” she explained.
“I saw many llamas. The people listed here are so nice. I feel very secure here. It’s kind of sad that I had to leave my country to feel secure, but it can recuperate eventually.

Mulvaney’s current state is a good distance from April when she opened up about the massive trolling she was subjected to after the partnership.
The influencer claimed she was an “easy goal” for online stalkers, saying the trolls were deliberately twisting her words to blow up the transgender community.
“The rationale I feel I’m … a straightforward goal is because I’m latest to this,” Mulvaney said on the TV show. Onward With Rosie O’Donnell Podcast.. “I feel prosecuting a trans woman who has been doing this for 20 years is lots harder. I feel perhaps they think there’s a likelihood with me… But what’s their goal?”
Mulvaney admitted that the trip was going well for now, but she was starting to miss some home comforts.
“I’m dying for some Trader Joes chilli lime chips, but apart from that I’m very completely happy,” she told fans. “Most of all, this trip makes me feel like my best friend again. And that is the best feeling in the world.”
It isn’t clear why Mulvaney, a self-confessed trans activist, landed in Peru as her destination.

After Mulvaney’s partnership with Bud Light, Anheuser-Busch lost over $27 billion in market capitalization.

The catastrophic aftermath has forced the former Anheuser-Busch executive to speak out about the ill-fated partnership, which was deemed a “mistake”.
Speaking to Fox Business on Monday, Anson Frericks – who worked for the brewer for nearly 11 years as chief operating officer until April 2022 – said he was stunned by how much money the company had bled.
“Nevertheless, I’m much more shocked by the lack of a transparent response from the current CEO during this crisis,” he said.
