Sam Levinson is honoring Angus Cloud within the wake of the actor’s death.
Cloud died at age 25 on July 31, prompting an outpouring of tributes from his Euphoria family. Amongst those mourning the loss include Sam Levinson, who created the HBO series that sky-rocketed Cloud to stardom.
“There was nobody quite like Angus,” Levinson said in a press release to Deadline following Cloud’s passing. “He was too special, too talented and way too young to depart us so soon. He also struggled, like lots of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew what number of hearts he touched.”
The 38-year-old added, “I loved him. I all the time will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”
His reason for death hasn’t been shared.
Cloud was solid in Euphoria after being scouted on the road in Brooklyn. He appeared in two seasons of the drama—which also stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow and Jacob Elordi—because the kindhearted drug dealer Fezco.
