Within the series, Mallory and Sam’s former assistant Brent Adams remember falling in love in 2013 when the sweetness queen got here to Oxford, Mississippi to go to the Haskell family.
They weren’t made public until Mallory relinquished her crown to the subsequent winner, and he or she says she thought Sam could be delighted with the news when he came upon. But when Brent told Sam, he says his “response was lower than positive.”
Brent claims Sam threatened to fireside him several times if he didn’t stop seeing Mallory. (He notes that he didn’t initially tell Mallory about his boss’s response, as she and Sam still appeared to have a cordial working relationship.)
But Brent continues:[Sam]would say those things, she was a whore, a terrible person or whatever – I used to be like, “What are you talking about?” It was about control. He controls all the things and everybody in his life. And when you go against it, you are out.”
Mallory says she eventually broke up with Brent in 2014 because he was still working for Sam.
“I made a alternative,” she remarks. “The alternative was that I didn’t wish to stay in a relationship with someone who didn’t arise for me.”
Brent says he felt “trapped” working for Sam, apprehensive he would never get one other job in Los Angeles, and was also unsure if resigning would help Mallory in any respect. To this present day, she remarks, “I still do not know what Sam’s problem was with our dates.”
He eventually quit his job around Christmas 2014 because, he recalls, Sam was still mad that Brent and Mallory were still texting regardless that they were not together.
TO ME! News contacted Haskell for comment on the allegations made on the show, but has yet to receive a response.
