Fans stormed a soccer field in Australia and attacked one in every of the goalkeepers on Saturday, causing the match to be cancelled.
Video posted on social media shows a fan throwing a bucket of white substance at Tom Glover, Melbourne City’s goalkeeper, during the team’s match against Melbourne Victory. Glover was taken off the field dazed and bleeding, with officials saying he likely suffered a concussion report.
Fans ran onto the pitch after 20 minutes at AAMI Stadium in Melbourne as City were leading 1-0.

“After the shocking scenes of the first half of the Men’s A-League match between Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City…when Melbourne Victory FC supporters entered the pitch, the Football Australia umpires stopped the match…to guard the integrity of the match,” Football Australia said in a statement.
“Such conduct doesn’t occur in Australian football, with a full Football Australia investigation resulting from begin immediately,” with “strong sanctions to be issued.”

Tensions were high from the start of the match, with fans planning to walk out after 20 minutes to protest the Australian Skilled Leagues’ recent decision to provide Sydney hosting duties for 3 more championship games as a part of a take care of the Latest South Wales state government.
Each sets of fans chanted and threw flares onto the pitch as the match began.
In accordance with reports, Glover was attacked with a metal bucket during hand-to-hand combat. The referee was also injured in the match.
