“Fast X” shot it to the top of the box office on its Friday opening night.
The eleventh part of the “Fast and the Furious” series grossed $ 28 million, according to Box Office Mojo IMDB.
The Vin Diesel-led motion movie, which The Post called “one other idiot” in the long-running film franchise, is set to have a $67.25 million debut weekend, by variety.
At this 12 months’s CinemaCon, Diesel announced that there will probably be one other expansion pack, “Fast 11,” which will arrive in 2025, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
It is the longest film series in history with the same solid portraying the same characters.
Fast X quickly dethroned Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which took home just over $8.37 million.
Marvel’s superhero movie spent two weeks at #2 because it opened.
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” fell to third place with sales of $2.25 million.

The romance comic “Book Club: The Next Chapter” turned the page and landed in fourth place with earnings of $900,000.
“Evil Dead Rise” placed fifth, earning $685,000.
