The Federal Trade Commission has asked Twitter to supply internal communications related to owner Elon Musk, details of layoffs and other business decisions as a part of its investigation into the social media company, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing documents.
The FTC, chaired by Lina Khan, has sent 12 letters to Twitter and its lawyers since Musk took over in October. The corporate was also asked to “discover all journalists” who had been granted access to company files and to supply information in regards to the launch of its renewed Twitter Blue subscription service, the report said.

The FTC also wants Musk to testify in reference to the probe, the WSJ reported.
Twitter, the FTC and Musk didn’t immediately reply to Reuters requests for comment.
