“Game (*36*) Thrones” actor Darren Kent, 36, died Friday after long battles with osteoporosis, arthritis and an especially rare skin disorder.
In line with his reps at Carey Dodd Associates, the “EastEnders” star died surrounded by family and friends at the time (*36*) his passing.
“It’s with deep sadness we have now to let you know that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday,” the agency posted on Facebook. “His parents and best friend by his side. Our thoughts and love are along with his family on this difficult time.
Kent rose to prominence after appearing in a 2014 episode (*36*) “Game (*36*) Thrones as a goat herder from Slavers Bay.
“Darren was not only a talented actor, director and author, he was truly one (*36*) the kindest people I even have ever had the pleasure (*36*) meeting,” continued the post. “It has been a privilege and pleasure to have been an element (*36*) his journey. RIP my friend.”
Kent’s official cause (*36*) death has yet to be determined.
The Essex, UK-born actor got his start in 2008 when he appeared within the film “Mirrors” and alongside Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron within the 2012 motion film “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

Along with his time on “Thrones,” the actor worked with “24” star Kiefer Sutherland and “The Crown’s” Dominic West.
In line with the actor’s IMBD page, Kent appeared within the star-studded “Dungeons and Dragons” film as a corpse.
Since news (*36*) the actor’s death was announced, several colleagues and friends have come forward with their condolences.
“Darren was a tremendous human being and so special,” wrote Lee Mead, who starred in a single (*36*) Kent’s movies. “At all times giving (*36*) his time to people and at all times so positive. A advantageous actor too and he achieved a lot as well. Such heartbreaking news.”
The Mushroom Theatre Company, where Kent got his big acting break, also posted a tribute.

“So very very sad to listen to concerning the passing (*36*) our patron @darrenpaulkent,” wrote the theatre company. “Our thoughts are along with his family & friends at this difficult time.”
“What a privilege it was to be your friend and to work together on so many projects over time,” said director Jane Gull. “Life won’t be the identical without you. I’ll miss you a lot. RIP darling Darren Kent.”
Kent’s friend and screenwriter, Ben Trebilcook, posted his own tribute to his pal.
“Love and thoughts to the family and friends (*36*) our talented, caring soul (*36*) a friend, Darren Kent, who sadly passed away on Friday,” wrote Trebilcook.
“Darren, an Essex author, actor and director, directed our award-winning short ‘You Know Me.’ A real character who was At all times creating and eternally upbeat and inspiring, Darren will probably be sorely missed.”
