Hailey Bieber‘s glazed donut skin is so dough-able.
The model’s go-to makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes—who’s best known for mixing fresh, dewy looks with vibrant pops of color—revealed the three essential steps to having deliciously plump skin.
“Using a face cloth once you wash your face is at the beginning,” Katie exclusively told E! News about prepping the skin before applying makeup. “The gentle exfoliation you get sets you up for achievement. The simplicity of getting a face cloth in your routine is vital to having less texture on the skin.”
Because the KJH Brand founder noted, “For those who don’t try this, you may have dead skin.”
One other tip? Applying products where you would like them—and only there.
“For those who are oily within the T-zone,” she explained, “don’t overdo it within the T-zone with skincare. The longevity changes within the makeup if you happen to’re putting an excessive amount of skincare in zones where you’d get oily. For most individuals, it’s around the edges of the nose, across the mouth and within the furrows of the brow.”
