Chris Rock was spectacularly slapped by Will Smith at last 12 months’s Oscars, but it surely’s the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who may get their very own slap at the 2023 Oscars.
A public relations expert believes that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be roasted by big names at a ceremony set to happen this Sunday, March 12, in Los Angeles.
While the privacy-conscious couple won’t be attending the dazzling event, PR guru Matt Yanofsky said there’s a great probability they’ll still be remembered for an enormous night in Hollywood.
“Meghan and Harry are not untouchable in the US,” Yanofsky, who runs a marketing and promoting agency Moment Labhe said Mirror on Friday.
He said a recent episode of “South Park” which made fun of exiled royals “took the band-aid off” so people could make fun of them.

“South Park” is a series that’s rooted in popular culture. No one cancels it and has a history of claiming what everyone thinks but is afraid to say,” Yanofsky said.
“By ridiculing the couple, they gave other people permission to finally say what they considered Meghan and Harry, as we saw similarly with Chris Rock’s stand-up show.”
It’s unclear whether the Sussexes – whose popularity has plummeted – are fearful about becoming the butt of potential jokes about the Oscars, be it from host Jimmy Kimmel, the award presenters or the winners themselves.
The Post contacted their representatives for comment.
In February’s episode titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour”, series co-creator Trey Parker mercilessly mocked Harry and Markle, implying they were desperate for attention while publicly begging for privacy.
The episode specifically targeted Prince Harry’s recent memories, “Spare”, which was re-titled “Waaagh” in a cut cartoon.
Even though it was rumored that Harry and Markle were about to sue over the episode, representatives of the couple deleted these reportssaying they are “baseless” and “boring”.
Nonetheless, expert Megyn Kelly claimed the couple would “never get well” from the very public ridicule.

“I feel like that is a press release that they’ve jumped the shark, they are not lovable, and her hopes of running for president, reported hopes, are just about dashed,” Kelly said. “It isn’t happening. When South Park turns its back on you, there is not any recovery.”
Indeed, the blockbusters have been around ever since the episode “South Park” aired.
Chris Rock broke into Markle in his recent Netflix special ‘Selective Outrage’ which hit the streamer last week.

The comic expressed annoyance at the former actress’s suggestion that some members of the royal family were racist.
“It’s the royal family!” Rock spotted in the special. “Didn’t you google those motherfuckers? What the hell is she talking about, “She didn’t know”? It’s like marrying into the Budweiser family and saying, “They drink so much.”
The star also criticized Markle for claiming a member of the family had expressed concern about how dark her baby’s skin color can be.
“It isn’t racism,” Rock insisted. “Because even black people wish to understand how brown the baby will probably be!”
Yanofsky said it wasn’t clear which celebrity could slap Harry and Markle on stage at Sunday’s Oscars.

He can be unsure how exactly they’d top the pair from Montecito.
“It’s 50/50 in the event that they’re making fun of the couple [on Sunday] or if in five years they begin mocking Meghan and Harry,” he said. “It would be interesting to see what happens.”
