This momentous occasion for Britain will soon be televised around the world.
King Charles III AND Queen Consort Camilla he shall be crowned on Saturday, May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London. Their coronation is the first the UK has seen in 70 years, following the June 1953 ceremony Queen Elizabeth IIwho died in September.
While Elizabeth’s coronation was the first to be televised, Charles’ big day can even feature additional aspects akin to social media and streaming.
At the coronation, Charles could have various members of his family by his side, including his son Prince William and his wife Kate Middletonwhose eldest son Prince George9, will participate in the ceremony as a celebration of honor. Prince Harry can even be present, though his wife Meghan Markle will stay in California.
And after the end of the official events, a concert awaits the members of the royal family on May 7 with performances by, amongst others, Lionel Richie, Katie Perry, take it AND Andrea Bocelli.
