Hyundai and Kia have warned a whole bunch of 1000’s of automobile owners to park their vehicles outside and away from structures for fear that the vehicles could catch fire.
The recall of 571,000 SUVs and minivans across america comes after Korean automakers issued similar recalls only a 12 months ago.

Potentially flammable cars include the 2019-2023 Santa Fe, the 2021-2023 Sante Fe Hybrid, the 2022 and 2023 Santa Fe plug-in hybrid, and the 2022 and 2023 Santa Cruz.
The one Kia model facing a recall is the 2022 and 2023 Carnival minivan.
The towbar harness on recalled cars can ignite when the automobile is parked – and even when the automobile is turned off – or while driving.
There was one automobile fire and five heat-damaged vehicles related to Hyundai, while Kia reported no fires. No injuries reported.

Automakers told US security authorities that water could get into the circuit board on the tabs and cause a brief circuit.
Last 12 months, Hyundai and Kia also repeatedly warned owners to park their cars outside as there was a risk of catching fire. Automakers have been plagued with fire and engine problems for several years.
Owners of recently recalled rides will likely be notified starting May 16 to take their automobile to a dealership totally free repair. Dealers will remove the pc module with the fuse and tow hook, then insert a latest fuse and extension cord with an improved connector that’s waterproof.
With postal wires
